District 1 Grand National Teams Finals

May 22 and 23, 2011

Quebec City Regional

Get your team together for the

Sunday, May 22:    1:00 & 7:00 pm  -- Flights A + C

Monday, May 23:   10:00 am & TBA – SuperFlight  + Flight B       
                                           

Masterpoints:
  • There is no club or Unit qualifying needed before the District Final.
  • District finals award gold for section firsts and overalls. Flight C is 25% gold for overalls.  Other masterpoints in all flights are red.

The winning team in each flight will be entitled to represent District 1 in the National Finals in Washington in July 2009. There is no subsidy from the District.

District 1 finals of this national team event.  Any team of four, five or six consisting of District 1 members can enter in one of four separate flights:

 

Superflight:  Open

Flight A:   0-5000 masterpoints

Flight B:   0-2000

Flight C:   0-500 ( must be non-Life Masters)

Your flight eligibility is determined by the number of masterpoints you held on September 1, 2008. 

District winners in each flight will be recognized on the web site.

 Conditions of Contest: 

1.    Club or Unit qualifying are not necessary before going to the District Final.

2.    All players must live in District 1 and meet the Flight masterpoint limitations above.

3.    If there are enough teams, a separate event will be held for the Flight.

4.    If there are not enough teams, interested teams will play an extra dollar, and play in that day’s Regional Swiss. The highest placing team that paid the extra entry fee will be deemed to be the GNT event winner.
